About Brad Sparks

Brad Sparks is a director with KPMG Global Citizenship and is responsible for the firm's climate change program, the Global Green Initiative. He originally joined KPMG's Atlanta office in 1997 as an auditor. During his career with KPMG, he has served as a Sustainability Advisor in Johannesburg, South Africa, and worked for the Los Angeles practice as part of the Forensic team and Global Sustainability Network. He began his current position in 2008.

A lover of travel, Brad has been fortunate to see many parts of the world for work and education. He spent two summers at Fudan University in Shanghai and studied at the Australian Graduate School of Management in Sydney. He interned with the Kenan Institute Asia in Bangkok as a Labor Standards Monitor. In South Africa, he volunteered for a non-profit organisation in Cape Town.

Brad is passionate about the environment and the role that business plays in addressing some of the world's most pressing issues on sustainability. He is committed to his community, serving on the Corporate Advisory Board for Net Impact and as a partner with Los Angeles Social Venture Partners.

Brad is honoured to participate in this year's Inspire Antarctic Expedition and looks forward gaining a new perspective on the critical challenges facing our planet. He believes that climate change gives the world the chance to work together to develop innovative solutions to combat this critical issue. Brad is eager to use the experience to help raise climate change awareness within KPMG and the greater community.
