Sourcing is a technology-oriented and high-end services industry which plays an important role in the global market. To encourage the development of the sourcing industry in China, the Chinese government has enacted a series of policies known as "Thousand-Hundred-Ten Project". As a worldwide professional services firm, KPMG provides Sourcing Advisory Services that can help companies evaluate their sourcing approach and establish sourcing strategies with controls over implementation and monitoring. Our services aim to maximize the benefits that can be realised from shared services, outsourcing, and multi-vendor arrangements.

With full support from the Hangzhou Municipal Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau, KPMG China will host "KPMG Executive Briefing on China Sourcing ". We would like to share with you our views on how China is moving up the value chain in developing the necessary infrastructure and outsourcing centres across a number of cities, and how that is going to impact the ASPAC region and the rest of the world.

New Dawn: China's Emerging Role in Global Outsourcing is a KPMG thought leadership written by guest author, Rebecca Fannin, editor of Asian Venture Capital Journal. It aims at providing the most up-to-date view on the sourcing industry in China. We are honoured to have the full support of the Hangzhou City Government in conducting this seminar. City officials and executives from the sourcing industry will join the seminar for knowledge sharing and participation in panel discussions. The agenda of the seminar follows:
